Medicare Cuts (2)

Well, maybe Congress is thinking after all.  HR 6331 passed by a bi-partisan majority vote, which would stop the Medicare rate cut; provide safeguards for Medicare beneficiaries needed preventative services, mental health services and prescription medications; and enhance Medicare for people with low incomes.  I say "would" because there is still one problem:  apparently Dub is going to veto the bill.  Why am I not surprised?

The Centers for Medicare Advocacy has set up a web site for those wishing to contact their legisators and encourage them to vote to override this presidential veto.  Here is the link:  http://salsa.democracyinaction.org/o/777/t/5888/campaign.jsp?campaign_KEY=25183
